Reviews
Gail Choochan, Free Lance Star
“Dorothy, the bright-eyed young dreamer, is perfectly played by Rebecca Carroll, who was so delightful in last season’s “42nd Street.” Similar to Peggy Sawyer, a small-town girl in the big city, the role of Dorothy suits Carroll well as she believably conveys the character’s innocence, kindness and spunk.”
Gail Choochan, Free Lance Star
“Bursting into the theater world as the young starlet Peggy is Riverside newcomer Rebecca Carroll, who wonderfully conveys her character’s innocence and gumption. She’s a delight to watch as Peggy transforms from a fresh-faced small-town girl to one of Broadway’s sparkling new stars.”
Dr. Mark Dreisonstok, Maryland Theatre Guide
“Rebecca Carroll plays Peggy with spunk and brings out the inspiring innocence of the bright-eyed, aspiring performer. She is fabulous in her role—dancing, singing, and quite naturally exuding her perky belief that it is a girl’s dream to even be “a speck of dust” in a Broadway show that will entertain thousands of people.”
